Life's Purpose

Do you know what the Bible says about you?

It says God made you, and loves you, and wants to have a personal relationship with you.
More importantly, the Bible tells us that God wants you to love Him in return.

That's what you were created for-- to know and love God and worship Him!
That is your purpose!

God created you, designed your very being, and knew you before you were born.
He authored the "owner's manual" on you-- He knows you inside and out!

Listen to what Psalm 139 says:
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother's womb.
Y
ou watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

You see?
You are no accident.
Your life was planned and engineered by God.
He had a purpose for your life then,
and He still does now!

But you will never know that purpose
if you are not in a meaningful relationship with God.
Without God, nothing in life makes sense.

Without God, you will try to find your purpose
through other relationships, or your work,
or by accumulating trophies and treasures.
But those things won't really satisfy you.
For awhile they might.
But then you'll feel that same old restlessness.
That longing for something more.

And that something is Someone.
God!

So if knowing Him and loving Him
is that important to us,
why doesn't everyone hunger for a
relationship with God?
