Seniors

The Scriptures teach us that there is tremendous value in a long life, well-lived to honor and serve the Lord. Grey hair is considered a "crown" of the righteous man or woman who fears God.

We appreciate our "senior saints" and are grateful for their wisdom and
testimony to God's enduring faithfulness.

We have a variety of resources available, as well as activities in which to get involved.

For more information, please contact  Karen Leaf at 810-494-4013,
or click here to email her.

We have 2 communities that meet on a weekly basis that are of interest to Seniors:
Solo Flight, which meets on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 3:00 pm in the church Parlor, is a group of widows, aged 65+, who get together for prayer, food , fellowship & support.  If you're coming to the group for the first time, please call the church office at 810-227-9411 to make sure that the group is meeting on-campus as they take outings off-site on occasion.

Prime Timers, which meets on Thursdays from 1:00 - 3:00 pm in the youth wing , is for men and women, aged 60+, provides an opportunity for fellowship, support, & continuing spiritual growth for those believers in the church body who are considered "seniors".  As with Solo Flight, first time visitors are strongly encouraged to call the church office at 810-227-9411 to make sure that the group is meeting on-campus.  Prime Timers occasionally goes off campus for meals or special outings.
Senior Ministries has an event planned for each month of the year.
