Prayer and Care Requests

REQUEST PRAYER
There are several ways to request prayer here at Cornerstone. Prayer Concerns publication: This sheet, which is for less time-sensitive, ongoing prayer needs, is published in the Sunday bulletin on the second Sunday of every month. It is also updated weekly and distributed in information racks throughout the church. Contact Karen Leaf in Caring Ministries at 810-494-4013 or at her email to have your prayer need included in this sheet. The Prayer Chain is for urgent & immediate prayer needs. To request prayer on the Prayer Chain, call 810-494-4060 and leave a voice message with the details regarding the prayer request and our 'prayer warriors' will pray immediately. Last names and full details are not necessary for the Prayer Chain, and every request is kept confidential. Pink Prayer Cards can be found in the pews of the church sanctuary. Just fill in your prayer request on the card and drop it in the offering plate as it's passed or turn your card in at the church office. It will be given to a pastor and, if your name and number are included, you'll be contacted by Caring Ministries. However, your personal information is not necessary for the need to receive prayer. PLEASE NOTE: If you require the services of the Caring Ministries department above and beyond prayer, you must contact Karen Leaf in Caring Ministries 810-494-4013 or at her email.
JOIN A PRAYER GROUP
Have you been gifted by God to pray? If that's your special joy, come join us! There are many needs within the body here at Cornerstone but in addition to those, there are other areas that need prayer: church leadership, our country, missionaries and those in the military. Our church pastors, elders, and ministry leaders need to be upheld in constant intercession and the worship services and ministries can only bring glory to Jesus Christ if they are covered by our prayers. We have many several prayer groups that meet throughout the month, a prayer room where people pray in hour long shifts for twelve hours every Monday, and a prayer chain that receives prayer requests to intercede for privately. Also, prayer for our Armed Forces throughout the world is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Parlor.
