What We Believe

We believe in one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19.

We believe that the Bible is God’s Holy and Living Word; inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is trustworthy and infallible; it is the supreme and final authority for guiding and directing all aspects of life.  2 Timothy 3:16-17.

We believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross, was dead and buried, and on the third day, by His own power, physically rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father never to die again. Luke 24: 6-7,51 Hebrews 10: 12-13.

We believe Jesus will return some day and will judge all peoples. John 14: 1-3.

We believe no one is without sin, and that all people fall short of the perfect righteousness required by God. But God loves us so much that He gave His only son, Jesus, as the perfect sacrifice for our sins and the sins of all humanity. Romans 3:23, 6:23. John 3:16.

We believe that we are saved only by God's grace, through Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection and not by any works. Ephesians 2: 8-9.

We believe that everyone who confesses their sins and places their faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone will be saved.  Romans 10:9-11.
