  • CCS Welcome Back Open House and First Day of School
Our Welcome Back Open House will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in Hess Hall and the classrooms. Our first day back to school is Tuesday, September 3, 2013 for a half day of school.
  • CCS Live Auction & Banquet
Oh, The Places They'll Go!! Cornerstone Christian School's annual live auction and banquet was a huge success!! Thanks for all of you that came out and all of you who volunteered!! A special thank you to Nicole Lewis, Susan Houston, and their amazing team. We are thrilled to announce the evening brought in more than $35,000. Praise the Lord for his goodness to us.
  • Childcare
One question that was raised at the January Parent Board Meeting was regarding before/after school care. We would like to hear from parents with this need so that the board can once again review the issue. We had very little feedback when previously asked. If you have need of before/after school care for your child(ren), please email Dr. hunt or Sandra Nettleingham with details of your specific needs. Providing a before/after school care program is complicated, given the busy use of the building for church ministries. However, the board is committed to reviewing the idea closely.
  • CCS Volunteers
CCS is always looking for volunteers. We need parents/grandparents for field trips, coaching, recess and lunch help and many more. Call the school office for ways you can help.
    We always have needs for:

*Recess & Lunch Volunteers - Supervising the students on their lunch break or recess time.
    *Library Volunteers on Friday mornings
*Live Auction Banquet - Many volunteers needed.
  • CCS Clubs/Activities/Organizations/Athletics
Are your students trying to find an activity to keep them busy through out the school year. CCS has many different clubs, team sports and activities for all grades. Drama club, American Heritage Girls, Remote Controlled Aircraft Club are just to name a few. Click here for more information about the club that interests you and their times. CCS also encourages Mothers to be praying for their children. Mom's In Touch is an organization that can help lead you in that area. Click here for more information.
If your student is interested in sports, please click here for the latest information.
  • CCS Purchased Lunch Days
Remember to look back here in August for the 2013-2014 lunch forms.
We are always in need of volunteers to help out in the lunchroom. Please consider it for next year. Please call our lunchroom director, Najwa, if you are able at 810-968-2379..
  • Friendly Reminders
*Remember all library books need to be returned. If you are unable to find a book, please pay for the replacement of that book that is listed on the the overdue book slip that was sent home. The student's report card will be held in the office until the book or funds are received.
*Remember the the Welcome Back Open House is Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 1:00pm.
*Remember the first day of school is a half day on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
  • Campbell's Soup Labels, General Mills Box Tops, VG's Receipts, & Target Red Card Shopping
Campbell's soup labels, General Mills boxtops, and Tyson Project A+ Logos all help earn dollars for our school!  Because of all the work Mrs. Ollar does preparing and sending in labels and boxtops, CCS has been given hundreds of dollars over the years.
Sign up for Take Charge of Education at your Target Store and designate CCS as your school of choice.  You can also participate in the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  You need to register online at www.krogercommunityrewards.com then click on "Michigan" to enroll or re-enroll. Meijer also has a community rewards program. Use your Meijer Credit Card or obtain a Meijer 1 Card to earn dollars for CCS!!! Check your local Meijer for information.
  • T.R.I.P.
Would you like free money? That's what you get when you participate in CCS' T.R.I.P.(Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)! This is how it works:
You determine where you will probably shop during the next month (groceries, gas, retailers, restaurants, online, etc...)
You order cards for those places through T.R.I.P.

You shop at those locations, using the cards.
A percentage of the dollar amount of your cards (.5%-24%) is deposited into you account.
In June you receive a check!
Pick up a TRIP registration form in the office. Email or call Julie Carleton for more information. You may submit your order on-line and then bring your check to cover the cost of the cards you purchased into the office.
  • SCRIP
If you like to shop then this is for you. You must create a free account at shopwithscrip.com and identify yourself as a member of our organization (Cornerstone Christian School) with our enrollment code. Please contact Julie Carleton at her email to receive the code or if you have any questions. We want to thank Julie for overseeing the SCRIP program this year!!
